I saw this recipe on Tasty Kitchen the other morning and immediately ran into the kitchen to get it into my crockpot for dinner. We love teriyaki chicken and I love using my slow cooker!
You can obviously make this non-spicy by leaving out the red pepper flakes. And please don’t be afraid of using Fish Sauce! It’s really no different than using Worcestershire Sauce (both have Anchovies as one of the main ingredients!) and makes such a big difference in asian cooking!
Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Recipe

Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 dried chinese peppers
Directions:
Place the chicken in the crockpot. In a small bowl, whisk together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the chicken.
Cook on HIGH for an hour, and then turn the heat down to low and cook for 6-8 hours.
Serve over rice!
