This is a classic meal. One of my favorites on a cold winter day!
Now, this recipe may not seem all that special or exciting, but it is comfort food at it’s finest… and practically no effort makes this dish a winner!
Slow Cooker Pot Roast Dinner
Ingredients:
3-4lb beef pot roast
1 teaspoon pepper
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup
6-8 medium white or red potatoes, cut in half
4 large carrots, cut in large chunks
3 celery stalks, cut in large chunks
Directions:
Place the roast in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with pepper and onion soup mix and worcestershire sauce. Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the roast and spread like frosting to cover the roast. Place the veggies along side and on top of the roast. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or longer, until the veggies and meat are tender!
